Possession of relevant knowledge,
creation of new knowledge, and the capacity for its application has become the pivots of
our nation. Consequently, Professional Education has emerged as a centre stage player and
is, today, the most important agent for change and development.
Education is a dynamic phenomenon that must
recognise the changes in the environment and respond to the growing demands and
challenges. Professional Education is a large system and the system parameters show a high
rate of change. In todays scenario, the educational planners have to take a global
view. Extrapolation of these and other expected inputs are taken into consideration at
Pailan School of International Studies for designing our Training Methodologies and the
Infrastructure as per the present needs of the day. The R&D personnel and faculty
members are from the ranks of the best available in the industry and are top notch
professionals.
A professional has almost a 30-year career span
and it is impossible to design a curriculum which will see her/him through that entire
period. Therefore, there is a need to imbibe the habit of self-learning which the students
of PSIS are strongly encouraged to do. These and many such issues are taken into
consideration so that a fresher can become a thorough professional and expert to face the
toughest of competitions tomorrow.
Finally, I must add that an institute, no matter
how good, cannot pursue the path of academic or professional excellence if its students
lack that hunger and passion for excellence.
I wish you a prosperous and happy life ahead.
